Mural Project: I chose a teacher close to my heart and created a two by eight foot "mural" for her using oil on masonite board. It reads, "He andado muchos caminos," which is an allusion to Antonio Machado's famous poem about seizing the day. It doubles as a symbol for walking through the world of Spanish literature (it translates as "I have walked many paths").
Senior Thesis: John Keonig, a graphic designer and editor from Amsterdam, captures life's most obscure feelings in single words. His work is called "The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows." Through blind contours — the most obscure form of art — I capture these words.
